We decided to go old school and revert back to the old NE colors. I have to admit it was awesome to see the old color scheme on the boards. It brought back a lot of happy memories.

Look for the transformation to be complete this week. Ryu and I have had to find a lot of old dusty gifs to revive the old scheme and its a work in progress. A lot of stuff isn't linking properly, we know it but we are busy playing AoC so don't sweat it, it will get done

As for AoC...this is the game I wish EQ2 would have been. To me its like a cross between EQ, Vanguard and Dungeons and Dragons. Enough of the commands are different so it feels like a new experience and obviously the combat system is new so it gives you the feeling you had when you first started EQ. The graphics are what we expected with Vanguard but without that horrible lag. Not sure about you guys but Vanguard was just a huge lagfest for me and I couldn't see myself raiding in those conditions. The D&D angle because the game just has that dark feel and frankly when we play D&D it isn't PG13 and this game is certainly not PG13 either

So if you haven't tried it yet, you should. And you had better join us in Necessary Evil, we have missed you all!

Welcome to the future site of the Age of Conan guild, Necessary Evil.

For those that have been around our original guild was Necessary Evil on the server Solusek Ro in the Everquest. Many of us formed the guild Forgotten on the Permafrost server in the game Everquest 2.

From the ashes of those guilds Necessary Evil has reformed joining players from both of those games. We welcome you to our site and hope to see you in game. Look for game info and our own brand of humor on the site. Please visit and register to our forums and if you are looking for a guild that will be fun, organized and excels at kicking ass then you have come to the right place!

The guild known as Forgotten is no longer an active raiding guild. Most members have found a new homes in other raiding guilds.

Although Forgotten will continue to exist, it will never again be an active raiding guild, its members will continue to be available for raiding.

The boards are being restructured to include EQ2 news and information and places for old friends from both EQ (Necessary Evil) and EQ2 (Forgotten) to keep in touch.

Grats to Forgotten for bringing down Tarinax last night in Deathtoll!

We had a great showing and a great time and came together as a cohesive raiding force in Deathtoll.

Grats to those who got Claymore updates and grats to all the raiders for the 20+ AAs we got!

Unfortunately I spent most of the Post-Fight whooping it up like a maniac with da' hobbit.. but I did manage a nice corpse screenshot as we were cleaning up the spawned trash!

Tarinax to 1%! One more shot of DPS and he'd have been dead. Keep up the work, guys. Thanks to Zteny for being a guinea pig. :P

Events: Great job in DT last week. We will be dining on dragonbones very soon. :P Congratulations on a near flawless clearing of Lyceum. And also on the nice upgrades everyone got. :-) Thank you all for your efforts at getting us back on track.
